Apparently vCops calculates disk IO based on the high watermark for the IO. So if I installed vCops 3 months ago and a datastore has a HWM of 170 IOP, then that is what it uses to calculate the datastore's workload.
I recvd a datastore workload alert for 100% disk IO because a VM on the datastore used 170 IOPS. The datastore can easily use 10x the amount of IOPS if needed. Can vCops be changed to handle alerts on HWM differently or even be able to setup manual HWMs so we won't get alerts as the HWM gets redefined?
Thanks,
