JVM heap size and vCOPS

Hi all,

Some of mycolleagueshave asked me,based on theirexperiences asit is possible thatvCOPSadvisedto decrease theRAMof aVMwithout taking into accountthe heapsizeof the JVMthatis configuredinside the VM for an application.

In essence, it seems thatifthe heapsizeis configured to, for example, 10GB, butI reducetheRAMof theVMfrom20GBto 5GB(for example), the JVM crashes(I thinkthe error is OutOfMemory).

In essence, then, where is the metric that include this value (fromvCOPSseenthat the metricson memorydo not seem totake this into account(it is as ifthisportionof RAM"dedicated"to the heapsizeis invisiblewhen not in use).)
